At OMEGATECH, we have established a set of rules to ensure an exceptional gaming experience for everyone. Our aim is to provide you with a truly remarkable and enjoyable DayZ adventure. We kindly request that you carefully review and abide by these rules, fostering a vibrant and exhilarating gaming community. Together, let’s create unforgettable moments and embrace the true spirit of fun and excitement within the world of DayZ.
Raiding/PvP Rules:
- Familiarize yourself with the rules before engaging in raiding activities.
- While not mandatory, we recommend recording your raids for documentation purposes.
- If you believe you were unfairly raided, please provide evidence through a support ticket on our Discord for investigation.
- Taking over another player’s base is strictly prohibited.
- During raids, you may break down storage, but refrain from dismantling anything related to Base Building Plus (BBP).
- Respect the integrity of land claims and flag poles; do not destroy them.
- Avoid removing or lowering flags without proper authorization.
- Logging off inside a base that you do not own is not allowed. In the event of disconnection or a crash during a raid, please log back in promptly. If unable to do so, notify us through a support ticket.
- Building structures with the intent to block entry to bases, rooms, or trap players is not allowed.
- Placing objects to obstruct entrances or hinder raids is not permitted. For example, placing a codelock behind a wall that a raiding player cannot get to.
- It is your responsibility to exit a base or resolve being stuck during a raid without resorting to rule-breaking actions such as glitching or dismantling.
Griefing Rules:
- Griefing, including dismantling walls, doors, floors, stairs, roofs, ramps, or flag poles, is strictly prohibited and will not be tolerated.
- Manipulating items inside another player’s base during a raid to aid climbing or boosting is acceptable. However, intentionally disrupting the organization of a base is not allowed.
- Raiding the same base repeatedly within a short time frame is considered griefing. A 24-hour cooldown period is required between raids on the same base.
- Griefing encompasses actions such as lowering enemy flags, removing flags, and damaging vehicles at player bases.
- “Popcorning,” which involves emptying items from base storage onto the ground without dismantling the storage itself, is considered griefing and is strictly forbidden.
General Rules:
- Engaging in hacking, cheating, glitching, duping, or DDoS attacks will result in a permanent ban. Players who knowingly associate or cooperate with individuals involved in such activities may also face penalties.
- De-rendering objects, trees, buildings, or utilizing ReShade/Nvidia Profile Inspector is not allowed. However, filters related to color or contrast adjustments provided by Nvidia/AMD GPUs are permitted.
- Harassment, including real-life threats, doxxing, DDoSing, or making threats of any kind to other players, is strictly prohibited, both within and outside the game.
- Racism, threats, or any form of derogatory or offensive remarks will not be tolerated.
- Publicly addressing issues should be done through support tickets in Discord or appropriate channels, rather than in global chat or general game discussions.
- Maintain a positive and respectful atmosphere. While friendly banter is acceptable, excessive toxicity, particularly if it becomes personal or demeaning, may result in escalating punishment.
- Show respect towards our staff members, and refrain from any form of disrespectful behavior.
- Do not share information regarding base locations through Discord or global chat, except for your own base when it is not currently under raid or PvP activities, and you are still a member of that base.
- Combat logging, which involves logging out within 10 minutes of any PvP encounter, is not allowed. If you experience disconnection or other issues, make every effort to log back in promptly. Failure to comply may lead to disciplinary action.
- Engaging in safezone strafing (repeatedly entering and exiting safe zones for combat advantages) is not allowed.
- Following players out of safe zones is prohibited.
- Blocking access to traders is strictly prohibited.
- Taking parts from other player’s vehicles within safe zones is not allowed.
- Leaving vehicles in the safezone will result in their deletion.
- Megaphone spamming within safe zones is prohibited.
- Vehicles are driven at your own risk. Admin assistance for vehicle-related issues will only be provided if there is evidence of a server issue, rather than a player issue. This rule does not guarantee that an Admin will assist.
- Avoid spamming global chat to maintain a positive communication environment. Excessive spamming may result in muting or kicking.
- Impersonating staff members, including using admin clan tags or pretending to have administrative privileges, is strictly prohibited.
- Utilizing log in/log out mechanics to glitch or change position for gaining access to structures or bases is not allowed.
- Each group is allowed a maximum of 5 vehicles, including air vehicles.
- “Whitewalling,” “wallpeeking,” or exploiting glitches to gain visibility through walls, bases, or objects is strictly prohibited. This includes throwing objects at walls to gain unfair advantages.
- Exploiting rendering issues to gain an unfair advantage in killing other players, such as when buildings do not render properly from a distance, is not allowed.
- When requesting compensation for lost items, including gear, vehicles, or keys, it is mandatory to provide video evidence clearly demonstrating the circumstances leading to the loss.
Disciplinary Actions Enforced/Results of Rule Violations:
- Player progress, including Reputation Points, items, bank accounts, and even bases, may be subject to removal as a result of rule violations. This can include the removal of ill-gotten gains or any progress obtained through prohibited activities.
- In case of rule violations, players may face temporary bans as a disciplinary measure. The duration of the ban will depend on the severity of the offense and may vary from a few days to weeks.
- Severe or repeated violations of the rules can lead to a permanent ban from the server. A permanent ban is issued when the behavior is deemed detrimental to the community, demonstrates a complete disregard for the rules, or involves cheating, hacking, or engaging in malicious activities.
It is important to note that the enforcement of disciplinary actions will be carried out by the server’s administration team. The severity of the consequences will be determined based on the specific circumstances of each case and at the discretion of the server administrators.
We strive to maintain a fair and enjoyable gaming environment for all players, and enforcing disciplinary actions is essential to upholding the integrity of our community.
Please remember to familiarize yourself with the rules and adhere to them to ensure a positive and respectful gaming experience for yourself and others.
