At OMEGATECH, we have established a set of rules to ensure an exceptional gaming experience for everyone. Since 2021, our community has been dedicated to providing players with a fair, competitive, and enjoyable DayZ experience built around long-term survival, community interaction, and unforgettable adventures.
We kindly ask that all players carefully review and follow these rules to help maintain a respectful, exciting, and welcoming environment for everyone. Together, we can continue building a strong community and create memorable moments within the world of DayZ.
Raiding/PvP Rules:
- Familiarize yourself with the rules before participating in raids or PvP activities.
- While not required, recording raids is highly recommended for evidence and dispute resolution.
- If you believe a raid violated the rules, submit a support ticket on Discord with evidence for staff review.
- Taking ownership of another player’s base is strictly prohibited.
- During raids, players may destroy structures and storage only as reasonably necessary to gain access to a base, secure loot, or continue the raid. Excessive destruction with no legitimate raiding purpose, including intentionally leveling or wiping an entire base, is considered griefing and is prohibited.
- Destroying or dismantling flag poles purely to grief or claim a base is not allowed.
- Removing or lowering flags without a legitimate raiding purpose is prohibited.
- Logging out inside a base you do not own is not allowed. If disconnected or crashed during a raid, players must make a reasonable effort to reconnect promptly or notify staff through Discord support tickets.
- Building structures with the intent to block entryways, trap players, or intentionally prevent raids is prohibited.
- Placing objects, codelocks, or structures in inaccessible locations solely to prevent raiding progression is not allowed.
- Players are responsible for safely exiting bases or resolving stuck situations without exploiting glitches, dismantling excessively, or breaking server rules.
- Repeatedly raiding the same base within a 24-hour period is considered griefing. Once a raid has concluded, the same group may not initiate another raid on that base for 24 hours.
- Players may not log out, switch servers, or avoid engagement to protect loot, vehicles, or bases during active PvP or raid situations.
Griefing Rules:
- Griefing is strictly prohibited.
- This includes unnecessary or excessive destruction of structures such as walls, doors, floors, stairs, roofs, ramps, gates, towers, or flag poles when the destruction does not directly contribute to the raid or gameplay objective.
- Manipulating items inside another player’s base to assist with climbing or boosting during a raid is permitted. However, intentionally disorganizing, scattering, or sabotaging a player’s base beyond the scope of the raid is not allowed.
- “Popcorning,” defined as intentionally dumping items from storage onto the ground to despawn, clutter, or inconvenience another player’s base, is considered griefing and is strictly prohibited.
- Damaging, dismantling, or sabotaging vehicles at player bases without a legitimate gameplay purpose is considered griefing.
- Attempting to exploit loopholes, technicalities, or undefined situations in the rules to gain an unfair advantage may still be treated as a rule violation at staff discretion.
General Rules:
- Hacking, cheating, glitching, duping, exploiting, or participating in DDoS attacks will result in a permanent ban.
- Players who knowingly associate or cooperate with cheaters, dupers, or malicious actors may also face disciplinary action.
- Using de-rendering methods, wall exploits, rendering exploits, ReShade, Nvidia Profile Inspector, or similar tools to gain an unfair advantage is prohibited. Standard color and contrast filters provided through GPU software are allowed.
- “Whitewalling,” “wall peeking,” or using exploits to see or shoot through walls, objects, or structures is strictly prohibited.
- Exploiting rendering issues to kill or track players unfairly is not allowed.
- Harassment, real-life threats, doxxing, DDoS threats, or targeted abuse toward players or staff will not be tolerated.
- Racism, hate speech, or derogatory remarks of any kind are strictly prohibited.
- Excessive toxicity, personal attacks, or disruptive behavior may result in punishment at staff discretion.
- Public disputes, accusations, or rule arguments should be handled through Discord support tickets rather than global chat.
- Respect staff members and comply with staff instructions.
- Do not share base locations in Discord or global chat unless it is your own base and it is not actively involved in PvP or raid activity.
- Combat logging is prohibited. Logging out within 10 minutes of PvP engagement is considered combat logging.
- Safezone abuse, including repeatedly entering and exiting safe zones for combat advantage, is prohibited.
- Following players directly out of safe zones with the intent to abuse safezone protection is not allowed.
- Blocking traders, entrances, roads, or safezone access points is prohibited.
- Taking parts from another player’s vehicle inside a safe zone is not allowed.
- Vehicles left unattended in safe zones for extended periods may be removed or deleted by staff.
- Megaphone spamming or excessive sound spam inside safe zones is prohibited.
- Vehicles are driven at the player’s own risk. Staff compensation for vehicle loss will only be considered when clear evidence shows a server-related issue.
- Excessive global chat spam may result in muting or removal from the server.
- Impersonating staff members, including using fake admin tags or claiming administrative authority, is strictly prohibited.
- Using log in/log out mechanics to reposition, glitch into structures, or gain unfair access is not allowed.
- Each group is limited to a maximum of 5 vehicles, including aircraft.
- Compensation requests for lost gear, vehicles, keys, or items require clear video evidence showing the circumstances of the loss.
